Our chickens are raised in a way that prioritizes quality over quantity, nutrition over cheapness, craft over assembly lines, and health as top priority. We try to raise chickens in a way that allows chickens to be chickens and express their instinctual behaviors. They're moved on to fresh pasture daily, sometimes twice a day, foraging on perennial grasses and forbs, scratching the ground hunting for insects and snails, no hormones or antibiotics ever, they're fed a quality feed and we think their meat quality will reward us – with delicious flavor and enhanced nutrition.

Quality/Service

We are sold on the quality of this Product and Service. A follow-up text was received from the owners to update us on the delivery and again to check on the quality once received. That's a Service uncommon these days. On to the Quality, my husband said that it doesn't even taste like chicken it's SO GOOD! So fresh and moist. What a gift, thank you!

HANDS DOWN the best chicken in my town. Every week I have the pleasure of shopping at the Delhi Farmers Market and getting my favorite chicken from Uplands Farm and Gardens. If you haven't visited with Ryan at the Delhi Farmer's Market on Wednesdays and you are still buying grocery store chicken...you are doing it all wrong!
